The idea to twin Brno and Barcelona and to carry out a project focused on creation of a curriculum combining art and architecture originated in Barcelona. We do not intend to give up on the idea, though this document remains an open one and thus continually changing. We incorporate within it the outcomes of meetings and issues arising from both written communications and direct discussions.

Objective of the Project

Creation of a curriculum in form of regular workshops and conferences dealing with analysis, existing ways and new opportunities of interconnecting art and architecture. The project is carried out as a research process with current selective education of students of European Art and Architecture Universities and Colleges

Objective of the First Conference

•    Seeking answers to the question why to be dealing with such a topic, what is to be expected of the curriculum and what form should it take
•    To establish a wide range of types of co-operation  between architecture and art (ranging from  choice and location of artefacts in architecture through commonly created environment to their interconnection).
•    Dealing with roles of architects and artists. Both core and marginal aspects of each variation which are to be focused on in future are to be defined.
•    Seeking possibilities for pedagogical outcome.
•    To establish co-operation links for future years
